Laboratory · Gypsum and building lime

Gypsum and lime are air-setting binders used for plasters, plasterboard, restoration mortars and soil stabilisation. Their performance depends heavily on fineness and setting, which vary between producers and with storage.

These tests are carried out to BS EN 13279-2 and BS EN 459-2 but are not included in our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope (LT 069); reports are issued without the accreditation mark.
