About the project
Terraces and flat roofs take the full load of rain, sun and temperature changes, and any leak shows up in the rooms below. At Golden Hand Residence, Paskuqan, a synthetic PVC membrane was laid over the whole surface, its overlaps hot-air welded into one continuous, watertight layer that stays flexible under UV and temperature changes. SARP supplied the system and supervised the installation with Golden Hand shpk.
On a roof the details make the difference: upstands, drains, corners and penetrations are formed with prefabricated pieces or membrane-laminated metal sheet, so the waterproofing stays continuous at every edge.
