About the project
Flat roofs on industrial buildings are large, exposed surfaces where a single leak can stop production below. At Industrial unit Kashar, a TPO (flexible polyolefin) membrane was laid over the roof, its overlaps hot-air welded into one continuous, watertight layer. TPO is plasticiser-free and resistant to UV and weathering. SARP supplied the system and supervised the installation with Edil-Al shpk.
On a roof the details make the difference: upstands, drains, corners and penetrations are formed with prefabricated pieces or membrane-laminated metal sheet, so the waterproofing stays continuous at every edge.
