About the project
A deck over occupied space has to stay watertight under foot traffic, rain and sun. At Golem Residence, a synthetic PVC membrane was laid over the deck, its overlaps hot-air welded into one continuous, watertight layer. SARP supplied the system and supervised the installation with AIB Golem shpk.
Upstands, drains, corners and penetrations are formed with prefabricated pieces or membrane-laminated metal sheet, so the waterproofing stays continuous at every edge before the finish is laid on top.
