Epojet
Two-component, solvent-free epoxy adhesive for construction joints and monolithic sealing of cracks in screeds, suitable for injection and anchoring in concrete.
Supplied by SARP & LAB, the only authorised MAPEI distributor in Albania.
Where it is used
- Monolithic restoration of cracked load-bearing structures damaged by overloads, accidental impacts or seismic events
- Structural repair of cracked beams, columns and floor slabs through low-pressure injection
- Reinforcing beams and floor slabs with the béton plaqué injection technique
- Restoring watertightness in cracked tanks, reservoirs or channels
- Sealing cracks in cementitious screeds
- Anchoring metal structures and reinforcing bars
Why Epojet
- Low viscosity once mixed, which makes it ideal for injections
- Solvent-free and watertight once hardened
- Outstanding adhesion to both concrete and steel, with high mechanical strength
- Excellent dielectric properties
- Meets the minimum requirements of EN 1504-5 and EN 1504-6
How it is applied
-
Prepare the concrete
The surface must be perfectly clean and sound. Remove loose parts, dust, cement laitance and paint by sandblasting or brushing. Concrete impregnated with oil or grease must be completely demolished.
-
Prepare injection points
Drill 8-9 mm holes along the sides of the cracks, oriented to intersect them, blow out the dust and insert the injection tubes. Seal the surface with Adesilex PG1 or Adesilex PG2 and wait until cured (minimum 12 hours).
-
Mix
Pour component B into component A and mix by hand with a trowel for small batches, or with a low-speed drill and stirrer for larger ones, until homogeneous and without trapping air. Do not use partial quantities unless weighed on a precision electronic scale.
-
Inject
Immediately after preparation, inject with a suitable pump from the lowest tube until the resin flows out of the next injector. Close that tube and continue from the one above until the crack is filled. Horizontal cracks can be sealed by pouring.
-
Respect the time limit
Apply within 40 minutes of preparation at +23°C. Clean equipment immediately with solvents, such as ethyl alcohol or toluene, before the product hardens.

Application precautions
- Do not use below +5°C
- Do not apply on wet surfaces, or on dusty, crumbling or weak substrates
- Do not use for sealing expansion joints
- The product generates a high amount of heat when reacting: apply as soon as possible after mixing and never leave the container unattended until it is empty
Product for professional use.
Frequently asked questions
How much product is needed?
For crack sealing, 1.1 kg per litre of cavity to be filled. For concrete-steel bonding, 1.1 kg/m² per mm of thickness.
How long is it workable?
40 minutes at +23°C and 20 minutes at +30°C.
Can it be injected into wet cracks?
Do not apply it on wet surfaces. The datasheet does give injectability results in both dry and wet sand columns, to EN 1771.
Can it seal expansion joints?
No. The datasheet says not to use it for sealing expansion joints.
Is there a warranty?
If required, MAPEI can provide a warranty for each product it sells. Contact us about your case.
