Mapeplan Cleaner
Solvent based thinner, specially formulated for cleaning and preparing the overlaps of Mapeplan PVC-P waterproofing membranes before welding.

Where it is used
- Cleaning overlaps of Mapeplan PVC-P membranes before welding
- Dirty membranes: building site dirt and air-borne dust
- Very dirty membranes: refurbishment and extension projects
How it is applied

Dirty membrane (building site, air-borne dust)
Clean with a broom, then with water. Use Mapeplan Cleaner only on dirty surfaces.

Very dirty membrane (refurbishment, extension)
Clean with a broom, then with water and a scrubbing brush, power washing if necessary. Apply Mapeplan Cleaner with a brush to dirty surfaces.

Remove the dirt
Apply cleaner liberally to the surface or overlap and draw the dirt and cleaner off onto a clean white cloth.

Weld
Wait for the solvents to disperse and the membrane to dry completely before welding.
