Mapeband PE 120
Rubber tape for waterproofing systems made from liquid membranes, used with Mapegum WPS.
Supplied by SARP & LAB, the only authorised MAPEI distributor in Albania.
Where it is used
- Waterproofing corners between adjacent walls and between walls and floors to be treated with Mapegum WPS
- Sealing pipe-work and drains in bathrooms, showers and kitchens with special Mapeband PE 120 seals

How it is applied

Apply Mapegum WPS
Apply a thin layer at least 1 mm thick to the sides of the corners and expansion joints.

Embed the tape
Embed the mesh part of the tape or special pieces in the fresh Mapegum WPS with a smooth trowel. Mapegum WPS must also touch at least a few mm of the rubber part.

Bond the joints
Joints between adjacent pieces must be bonded with Adesilex PVC HP, a solvent resin-based adhesive.
