Mapeplan ADS 200
One-component polychloroprene solvent adhesive for double coating (contact adhesive), to bond PVC-P Mapeplan synthetic waterproofing membranes on vertical, horizontal and sloping surfaces.
Supplied by SARP & LAB, the only authorised MAPEI distributor in Albania. POLYGLASS is part of the Mapei Group.
Where it is used
- Vertical up stands on perimeters, walls, kerbs around rooflights, chimneys and plant supports
- Cement plasters, cement slabs and substrates
- Concrete screed lightened with EPS or expanded clay
- PUR & PIR insulation boards and panels coated with glass fiber
- Wooden planking, plywood and OSB
- Metal sheets
Why Mapeplan ADS 200
- Specific adhesive for PVC-P Mapeplan synthetic waterproofing membranes
- Low viscosity and immediate grip
- Easily applied on horizontal and vertical surfaces
- High adhesion and elasticity after curing
- Excellent temperature and ageing resistance
How it is applied
-
Prepare the substrate
Plaster and concrete surfaces must be clean, free of loose materials, nibs and hollows, and as smooth as possible. Insulation boards resistant to solvents are laid flat without steps at the joints and secured independently. Wood must be dry and non-greasy, with no film-forming treatments.
-
Metal sheets
Metal sheets must be clean and free of oil and grease; if required, degrease with a suitable solvent such as Mapeplan Cleaner. They must form a continuous support, with no threads or sharp burr edges.
-
Mix
The product is ready for use. Mix before application.
-
Coat both surfaces
Apply by roller and brush to both the support and the membrane, as a continuous, uniform layer.
-
Bond
Wait a few minutes for the solvent to evaporate. While the adhesive is still sticky (try with a finger), apply the membrane on the support and press uniformly with a roller. After application the membrane cannot be removed without damage.
-
Clean the tools
Clean tools with Mapeplan Cleaner before the adhesive dries. Once dry it can only be removed mechanically.

Application precautions
- Do not thin with solvents
- Apply only on compact, smooth and regular surfaces resistant to solvents; not on dusty, friable or contaminated surfaces
- Do not apply in case of oncoming rain, or on wet or humid surfaces
- Easily flammable: keep away from naked flames and sparks, do not smoke, prevent electrostatic build-up and work in well ventilated areas
- Irritant for skin and eyes, may cause an allergic skin reaction, drowsiness and dizziness: wear gloves, goggles and suitable respiratory protection
- Dangerous for aquatic life: do not dispose of into the environment

Frequently asked questions
How much is needed per m²?
For double coating bonding, approximately 0.6-1.0 kg/m², depending on the quality and absorption of the substrate.
Which membranes does it bond?
PVC-P Mapeplan synthetic waterproofing membranes.
Can the membrane be repositioned?
No. After application it cannot be removed without damage to the membrane or the substrate surface.
