Planitop Fast 330
Quick-setting, fibre-reinforced cementitious levelling mortar for internal and external floors and walls, applied in layers from 3 to 30 mm to even out irregularities.
Supplied by SARP & LAB, the only authorised MAPEI distributor in Albania.
Where it is used
- Levelling reinforced concrete surfaces in swimming pools, before waterproofing or laying ceramic and mosaic
- Smoothing and levelling floor slabs and screeds made with cement or special binders such as Mapecem and Mapecem Pronto
- Preparing old ceramic and stone floors for new coverings or waterproofing
- Repairing or forming slopes on terraces and balconies
- Levelling walls in a single layer, up to a maximum of 3 cm
Why Planitop Fast 330
- Quick to build on: ceramic after approx. 4 hours and waterproofing after approx. 24 hours at +20°C
- Can also be applied on vertical surfaces by trowel
- Excellent bond to all typical construction substrates, without shrinkage and without forming cracks or fissures
- Certified EC1 Plus: very low emissions of VOC
- Contributes to LEED credits
- Meets EN 1504-2 coating (C), principles MC and IR, and EN 998-1 GP, category CS IV
How it is applied
-
Prepare the substrate
Remove damaged and detached areas and any coating that is not perfectly adherent. Clean by sandblasting and high-pressure water jets. Wet absorbent substrates and surfaces exposed to sun or wind.
-
Prime where needed
Treat gypsum substrates and anhydrite screeds with Primer G or Eco Prim T Plus. Treat smooth or low-absorbency substrates such as ceramics and terrazzo with Eco Prim Grip Plus, after mechanical abrasion. Well-cured concrete is treated with Eco Prim Grip Plus where necessary.
-
Mix
Pour approx. 4.4 litres of clean water into a container and slowly add a 25 kg bag while mixing. Add water if needed, up to 5.0 litres. Use an immersion mixer or low-speed drill. The mix stays workable for approx. 20 minutes at +20°C.
-
Apply
On walls, trowel a thin bonding layer, then immediately apply the required thickness in one layer, up to 3 cm. On floors, use a long metal trowel or a straight edge.
-
Cure
Cure carefully in hot or windy weather. Keep from contact with water for the first 4 hours at +20°C, or 24 hours at +5°C.
-
Lay the covering
Ceramic, moisture-insensitive stone and mosaic after approx. 4 hours at +20°C (24 hours at +5°C). Mapelastic, Mapelastic Smart, Monolastic, Mapelastic Turbo, Mapelastic AquaDefense and Mapegum WPS after approx. 24 hours at +20°C.
